Tamara Clark Photography bio picture
  • Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Tamara Clark and I am a photographer in Vancouver, Canada. I am a mother to a very spirited little boy, registered nurse, 'stripe' lover, instagrammer and I love to cook.

You can always find me planning activities for my son, taking his photos (typical photographers child hates the camera!) or looking for some sort of outdoor adventure/awesome photo shoot location.

I love photography because I am able to meet so many new faces and form new friendships while giving the gift of great photos. The excitement from sneak peeks and tears of happiness make this job so rewarding and I hope I can capture these precious moments in your lives as well.

    look forward to meeting you

Trendy Tots | Real Life Flat Lay Photoshoot

This shoot was so much fun! Clarissa from childishfashion.com and I had this vision to create a REAL LIFE FLAT LAY and get local small shop vendors product and style kids for a fun shoot that brings the look of their clothes to life. Our little models did such an amazing job. There was a fair share of bribery involved, however a bag of jellybeans later and I think these kids had an absolute blast! Check out some favs of mine when Carter noticed the Glitter and Spice teething toy and started salivating like crazy. He thought it was a real cookie and at one point told me “wow thats a BIG cooooookie!” It melted my heart and made my day! A big thanks to all our vendors for bringing this shoot to life and we look forward to working with many more of you for our summer shoot in June!

Kaitlin & Jeff | UBC Boathouse wedding

Two weeks ago, I shot my first wedding of the season and it couldn’t have been more perfect. All week the weather called for rain! Then one day it changed to sun, teased us and went back to rain. We woke up the day of the wedding and it was blue sky! A wedding day miracle. Kaitlin and Jeff did a windy first look and then we were able to take all their wedding portraits ahead of time at the Britannia Heritage Shipyard. It was beautiful and suited everyone’s colors so well. The whole day was perfect and the speeches were some of my favorite to date! The maid of honor absolutely nailed it and smiles through all her tears. Thanks so much to my amazing second shooter Danaea or Danaea Li Photography for capturing the boys getting ready and many other important shots from the day!

I know there are a few people who have been waiting patiently for this post;)and its a long one! Enjoy and leave them some love!

Hoath | family session

One of my photos from this session just won fourth place in the shoot and share contest. I had such a hard time picking which images to submit from this session and figured it was about time I blog some more of my favorites so you can see just how amazing this family is. We picked the perfect location, they picked the perfect outfits and their little one likes the cold so it was just amazing all around. She had no complaints, just gave me that cheesy, perfect, almost one year old grin from time to time. I adored everything about this session but what I adored most was the amazing chemistry this mom and dad not only had with their daughter, but together as a family. Everything about it felt magical! And here is it for you to see!
